On Thursday at 7 p.m. ET, the Old Dominion Monarchs (3-4) will take on the Georgia Southern Eagles (5-2).
The Eagles head into the matchup after winning 28-14 over the James Madison Dukes in their last outing on Oct. 19. The Monarchs are coming off of a victory over the Texas State Bobcats by the score of 24-14. In that matchup with the Dukes, JC French had 215 yards on 24-of-33 passing (72.7%) for the Eagles, with three touchdowns and three interceptions. Jalen White rushed for 134 yards on 23 carries (5.8 yards per carry), adding two receptions for 21 yards. Derwin Burgess Jr. totaled five receptions for 52 yards (averaging 10.4 per catch), while scoring one touchdown against the Dukes. Colton Joseph notched 130 passing yards while going 15-for-28 with no touchdowns and no interceptions for the Monarchs against the Bobcats. He added 16 carries for 111 yards and three touchdowns. Aaron Young carried the ball nine times for 53 yards. Isiah Paige caught six passes on 13 targets for 36 yards (6.0 yards per reception).
