Devon Dampier will lead the New Mexico Lobos (3-5) into their matchup versus the Wyoming Cowboys (1-7) at University Stadium (NM) on Saturday at 4 p.m. ET.
The Lobos head into the matchup after losing 17-6 to the Colorado State Rams in their last outing on Oct. 26. Last time out, the Cowboys lost 27-25 to the Utah State Aggies. Against the Rams, Dampier led the Lobos with 319 yards on 23-of-40 passing (57.5%) for no touchdowns and two interceptions. He also carried the ball 15 times for 51 yards. Eli Sanders took 15 carries for 70 yards (4.7 yards per carry), while adding four receptions for 42 yards in the passing game. Ryan Davis recorded nine receptions for 146 yards (averaging 16.2 per catch) against the Rams. Kaden Anderson’s showing for the Cowboys against the Aggies included 15-of-24 passing for 182 yards, no touchdowns and no interceptions. He rushed nine times for 25 yards. Sam Scott carried the ball 11 times for 115 yards and one touchdown. Chris Durr Jr. caught nine passes for 83 yards (9.2 yards per catch).
