The first round of the 2024 NBA draft saw 30 players find new homes at the next level, including 22 college basketball stars. Thursday will conclude the two-round draft, with 28 more players getting drafted and countless others signing their first professional contracts.
Wednesday’s festivities saw quite a few big winners – from players selected earlier than anticipated, to landing in the ideal developmental spot, to teams having multiple players picked – while there were also some losers who fell further than anticipated or didn’t get drafted at all.
