After taking the trip to Baton Rouge for what turned into a beatdown for LSU at the hands of Alabama in Week 11, the ESPN College GameDay crew is heading back to SEC country for Week 12.
Kirk Herbstreit, Rece Davis, Desmond Howard, Nick Saban and Pat McAfee are going to Athens, Georgia, as the Georgia Bulldogs host a top-10 Tennessee Volunteers team looking to keep their College Football Playoff hopes alive after a 28-10 road loss to Ole Miss.
That loss was UGA’s second of the season, and it definitely took some luster off this rivalry showdown. Now, it’s Tennessee looking to hold serve as the one-loss Vols have a clear path to the CFP and remain in contention to win the SEC.
This will be Georgia’s 39th time being featured on College GameDay, but it will be just the ninth time GameDay has appeared in Athens. The last time was a year ago on Nov. 11 as the Bulldogs demolished Ole Miss.
