The eyes of the college football world will fall on Dallas, Texas next week, as 2024 SEC Football Media Days are set to take place from Monday, July 15 through Thursday, July 18.
An anticipated event on the annual college football calendar, all 16 of the conference’s teams will send representation to Dallas over the four days, which feature the head coach, as well as three players. Yes, this is the first time ever that SEC Media Days will feature 16 teams, as both Oklahoma and Texas are now officially members of the conference, with the Sooners and Longhorns now set to be a focal point of this upcoming week.
However, the storylines entering 2024 SEC Football Media Days do not stop there.
Not only are those two programs joining the conference, but Alabama now enters SEC Media Days with Nick Saban not at head coach for the first time in almost two decades, while others such as Texas A&M and Mississippi State also enter 2024 with new coaches. Not to mention a few programs likely entering 2024 with pressure to win, while others are looking to take the next step into a SEC title contender.
Needless to say, the storylines entering 2024 SEC Football Media Days will be plentiful for numerous teams. Let’s take a look at the attendees for this year’s event from every program across the conference, starting with the defending SEC champions.
