The warmest game of the first round of the College Football Playoff takes us to Austin, Texas.

The Texas Longhorns, who fell to the No. 5 seed after a loss in the SEC Championship are playing host to the No. 12 Clemson Tigers after they stole a bid with a 56-yard game-winning field goal in the ACC Championship.

The matchup feels one-sided on paper but Clemson is still Clemson and Dabo Swinney still mans their sideline with as much postseason experience as anyone.

Here’s how to watch the Texas versus Clemson game, including time, TV schedule and streaming information:

Texas vs Clemson predictions, picks, odds

ODDS: Texas -11.5

O/U: 51.5 total points

Unfortunately, this may be the end of the road for the Clemson Tigers. Sneaking their way in is a great story, but it’s exactly that. They snuck into the College Football Playoff.

Texas gets them at home and should be able to be a more talented team. Dabo Swinney has the experience to coach this game close and if Texas gets shaky quarterback play things could get dicey, but ultimately, the Longhorns find a way. Texas 34, Clemson 20
