Last weekend was the full kickoff for most of college football after limited action during Week 0 highlighted by Georgia Tech’s last-second win over the Florida State Seminoles. The Noles’ problems continued into Week 1 as the Boston College Eagles thumped them to start the season 0-2 in ACC play.
Fortunately for FSU, they have the open week to try and fix some of their issues. As for the rest of the nation, plenty of action will keep you planted on your couch this weekend. It begins on Friday night with the NFL taking center stage on Thursday. Friday features BYU at SMU, Western Illinois at Indiana, and the Duke Blue Devils at the Northwestern Wildcats.
The biggest game of the weekend begins bright and early as both College Gameday and Big Noon Kickoff will take over Ann Arbor as the Michigan Wolverines host the Texas Longhorns. This game was originally set to take place in Austin, but early exit negotiations moved this game to the Big House. The only other game featuring two ranked teams will pit the Tennessee Volunteers against the NC State Wolfpack.
After going 43-16 last week with our selections, we will aim to do better this time around.
