The Buffaloes enter the matchup after losing 28-10 to the Nebraska Cornhuskers in their last game on Sept. 7. Last time out, the Rams defeated the Northern Colorado Bears 38-17. In that matchup with the Cornhuskers, Shedeur Sanders had 244 yards on 23-of-38 passing (60.5%) for the Buffs, with one touchdown and one interception. Dallan Hayden rushed for 32 yards on five carries (6.4 yards per carry), adding two receptions for 27 yards. Travis Hunter led the receiving charge against the Cornhuskers, catching 10 passes for 110 yards. Brayden Fowler-Nicolosi’s showing for the Rams against the Bears included 17-of-26 passing for 180 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions. He rushed two times for -2 yards and one touchdown. Keegan Holles carried the ball 10 times for 89 yards (8.9 yards per attempt) with one touchdown. Caleb Goodie caught three passes on four targets for 52 yards (17.3 yards per reception), and scored one touchdown.
