The Flames took on the UTEP Miners in their most recent game, winning 28-10. The Pirates are coming off of a loss to the Appalachian State Mountaineers by the score of 21-19. Kaidon Salter had 228 yards on 15-of-19 passing (78.9%) for the Flames in that matchup against the Miners, with one touchdown and no interceptions. He also added nine carries for 24 yards. Billy Lucas totaled 104 rushing yards on 21 carries (5.0 yards per carry), scoring three touchdowns on the ground. Treon Sibley led the receiving charge against the Miners, catching four passes for 77 yards. Jake Garcia threw for 226 yards for the Pirates against the Mountaineers, going 18-for-28 (64.3%) with one touchdown and one interception. Rahjai Harris carried the ball 18 times for 87 yards (4.8 yards per attempt). In the passing game, he added one catch for zero yards. Winston Wright recorded three catches for 72 yards (on five targets), with one touchdown.
